i love the guitar part to this song. i feel that the second verse of this song is a problematic retelling of a true event. premier harris cut social services in a big way when i was in high school. it hurt and killed many people. i saw it in hamilton. while this was happening, i learned about central park's history and saw too many dead deer on new york state highways. the brutality of our daily activities is staggering.

sprawling 20 song album, seeming lacking in any focus. some of the most creative and weird songs i ever wrote. put a great deal of love into this one.
was intially intended to be a split release between burnt oak records and youth club records but youth club forgot and misplaced all the cd's i sent them. i think both labels have folded now anyways.
